A few weeks ago I spent a week in Rockingham County, VA, where I am from. This trip was not the leisurely sight seeing and family time spending trip I normally take, I worked the whole time. God could not have graced us with better weather the entire time and for all my shoots, it was AWESOME.

On a Thursday afternoon, under gorgeous skies, I met Cassindy and Reshella for some bridal portfolio work. We meet at CrossKeys Vineyard. If you’ve never been to CrossKeys, GO, it gives a whole new meaning to beautiful and of course there is wine, yummy. Unfortunately, the vines hadn’t quite perked up yet so I wasn’t able to get any vineyard shots as I hoped but there is no shortage of awesome spots to shoot at this location.

Cassindy, whom I went to school with, was married May 18th just 2 weeks after this shoot. She used this as kind of a test run for the big day. Reshella, was married about a year ago to a guy I graduation with but hadn’t preserved her dress yet. Like the smart women she is, she decided why not get some more wear out of a dress you usually only get to wear once. I owe this whole set up to social media and good friends. I put a request on my facebook page months ago saying I wanted to do some bridal work and bam, one friend referral later and a blushing bride-to-be, I have these stunning beauties. I can not thank these ladies enough for for not only being wonderful models but for taking time out of your lives to let me work. Also, a huge thank you to to Nikoo and Bobby for allowing me to shoot on their property. This place is amazing, who wouldn’t want to get married here. And I can’t forget my Momma who made the gorgeous bouquet for us to use, thanks Momma.
