One thing that I love more than anything is making a friend feel absolutely amazing. Especially when that friend is become a new bride. Once upon a time, almost 10 years ago (what?), I remember what it was like to be a new bride. So many possibilities with this new found life. I figured what better way to kick off these possibilities than with a little confidence boost, while putting together a gift for her soon-to-be husband.

We all know what wedding planning can do to a girl. And since Crystal gave me the honor of being by her side on her big day, I wanted to give something back to her. So, I invited her for a little Glam session and a chance to just feel good.

We started early in the morning, since the day was full of events.  I arranged a little set up in Studio 6 at Sptizer Art Center and  enjoyed some giggles with Hannah, my Harrisonburg make-up artist, who is wonderful and my good friend. It was Crystal’s first time being “made-up” so there were definitely some, “what is that moments?”.  It was also my first time working with Hannah and I loved her so much. She does amazing work and is incredibly detailed. I highly recommend her….and she’s funny.

Right off the bat, I got these shots. This girl looks fantastic on that side of the camera. This was my second shoot with Crystal and she never disappoints. Gorgeous written all over her face.

Crystal wanted to get some shots for her soon- to-be husband Brad, who just happens to be a huge VA Tech fan and graduate. Crystal and Brad said I do on a truly beautiful day at Spring Meadow Farm in Mt. Solon, earlier this May. I was so honored to be a part of it and of course, it was a blast. I wish them both a world of happiness.
