One of my favorite things about senior sessions is getting to know these kids.  I love hearing about their plans and excitement for the future.  Erika and I got to spend several hours’ together running around Three Rivers, MI.  I learned about her goals and her future plans in the forensic science field.

We worked our way around Scidmore Park. This park is absolutely awesome, so much variety to shoot with.  Some baby ducks even chased us while we were there.  We stayed away, I didn’t want to tango with momma duck.

We then headed back to Erika’s house and enjoyed the beautiful golden hour in the field next to her house.  I wanted to capture Erika with some things that she loves right now.  She is always mixing up beats on her keyboard and is active in her local church.  A girl that’s loves music and God, is my kind of girl.  Can you tell her momma is proud?

And of course there is the prom dress.  We almost ran out of daylight but managed to sneak in a few shots.  This beautiful pink ball gown with hues of purples and pink sparkles was gorgeous and so fitting.  Erika lit up when she twirled in her gown.  I think you may need to find another reason to wear that dress Erika or just wear it around for fun ;-).

I can’t wait to see where this crazy journey will take Erika.  Maybe we’ll see ya on CSI one day.
