Allyson Conrad is a force to be reckoned with.

I’ve known Allyson for a little over a year now. She is one of the members of the MY Girl Street Team of ’17-’18, as well as a senior at Fairfield Jr. Sr. High School—the same school where she started the It Stands With Us campaign.

Allyson, along with a few of her closest friends, started their campaign because they actually wanted to take action against bullying and how much of a problem it is. It Starts With Us is making a change all the way down to the elementary schools, and the group has already grown so that students are able to carry it with them after this year’s senior founders leave. The focus is to spread kindness; a solution so simple yet so effective.

“When you love what you have, you have everything you need,” is her favorite quote. She loves hanging out with her friends and creating memories, and says that she loves to make others smile and laugh. Her energy is so pure and caring, it’s hard not to love her back!

She plans to go to college to study psychology (she’s already off to a great start) and is so absolutely excited for living on her own and meeting new people.

She literally rocked this shoot. I swear, all of my girls are so dang gorgeous!

Allyson describes herself as unique and I’d have to say I agree. I have never met anyone like Allyson, and I love it!

Even though she is ready to move onto the next chapter in her life, she will definitely miss football games. She has been a member of color guard since junior high and it definitely showed in her performances. I’m telling you this girl is a born leader in everything she does.

It’s so great to see that people like Allyson are part of our future. Truly, her heart is pure gold and she will go so far in life with just that.
